William G. Tishkoff is a graduate of Wesleyan University (B.A., with highest honors, 1982) and The University of Michigan Law School (J.D., 1991). Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Tishkoff joined Braun Kendrick Finkbeiner PLLC, focusing on corporate litigation. As an attorney at Braun Kendrick Finkbeiner, PLLC, Mr. Tishkoff served as trial counsel for individuals and corporations, including ConAgra, Inc. and Phillips Petroleum Corporation. In 1996, Mr. Tishkoff established a litigation practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan, forming a partnership that became Spitler, Vogtsberger, Huffman & Tishkoff, LLP. In January of 1998, attorneys Peter A. Long, Basil A. Baker and Mr. Tishkoff formed Long, Baker & Tishkoff LLP. In March of 2004, Mr. Tishkoff formed the law firm that became Tishkoff & Associates PLLC.

Mr. Tishkoff specializes in commercial litigation, construction litigation, business disputes, trade secrets, employment law, civil rights, severe personal injury and wrongful death. Mr. Tishkoff is admitted in all state and federal courts in Michigan. Mr. Tishkoff is also admitted in the U.S. District Court for Western District of Ohio, Northern Division.

Mr. Tishkoff's legal experience includes: his appointment by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court as special counsel for the collection of over $300,000 of insurance proceeds and approximately $1,000,000 of accounts receivable in the Southern Thumb Cooperative, Inc. Chapter 11 bankruptcy; obtaining a $682,000 federal jury verdict against an automobile contractor in 2005; obtaining a $2.7 million judgment against a community research firm; obtaining a obtaining a $1.5 million judgment settlement for a low income housing developer against the City of Bay City in a Sec. 1983 civil rights and contract claim [reported by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as the 21st largest settlement in the State of Michigan in 2001]; obtaining a confidential settlement of $250,000 for an employment related fraud claim in federal court; obtaining a $238,000 age discrimination jury verdict against Sandusky City School District Board Of Education; obtaining a $119,000 jury verdict and total judgment of $225,067 against West Publishing for violation of the Family and Medical Leave Act [the final settlement with West Publishing was $425,000]; and obtaining an EEOC award of $96,757.56 for back pay, emotional distress and other damages caused by the United States Postal Service through its racially discriminatory treatment of an employee.
